This just appeared in my Inbox and appears to be quite compelling:
It’s a new HDD from Seagate that combines an SSD with a traditional spinning HDD platter.
The drive combines the speed of SSD with the lower cost of traditional drives by monitoring usage and automatically
moving the most used data to the SSD. The SSD is basically acting as a big cache.
