Communities, Launches, Parties and TGIF

It’s been a busy week in IT PRO land. TechDays was held in Cape Town along with the SQL 2008 R2 Launch party, SQLCape launched at the same time – who? SQLCape a rocking band of data lovers who use words like BI, OLAP and OLTP and look you in the eye while they share their knowledge about warehousing which has nothing at all to do with crates…..

SQLCape are planning to meet regularly (more details to follow) and will post regularly on the SQLCape Category which also has an RSS feed. Rumours are that many cool things are planned, suggest you check back often if SQL is your thang, even if you don’t live in the Cape.

Knowledge sharing is where it’s at for communities, so welcome to SQLCape – may you have many followers and data filled evenings 😉
